Tioman Island, off the east coast of Malaysia, has some of the best dive sites in the South East Asian region. It has extensive coral reefs teeming with a myriad of tropical marine life, large and small.  

With over 20 dive sites to choose from,  we can offer exciting dive adventures for newcomers, as well as more challenging dive sites for more experienced divers.  These include over a dozen wrecks which were once Thai fishing trawlers (wooden hull) which were seized by the Malaysian government.

Tioman is also the perfect place to  learn to dive!  The water temperature ranges between 26C-32C and the visibility ranges between 8m-25m. Currents are generally light, about 1-3 knots.  As Panuba is  'protected' with its bay, we are blessed with shallow, calm waters which is ideal for students to perform their 'confined water' training skills.  This includes Renggis, Pirate Reef and  our House Reef which is perfect for further deeper training, night dives and  photography.  Macro lovers with sharp keen eyes, could most likely spot some of the most beautiful  nudibranchs and  shrimp on every single dive, especially night dives.

Our underwater landscape is of granite rock, a perfect ground for coral growth, which provides shelter and food for fish and other marine life.   Explore the swim-throughs at Labas, the dense fan coral garden at Fan Canyon, and discover a large diversity of both hard and soft corals and sponges.

Tioman's variety of  underwater creatures almost seems endless.  They include  turtles, barracudas, cuttlefish,  blue ribbon eels, reef sharks,   turkey fish, bumphead parrotfish, morray eels,  scorpion fish, jackfish, sometimes dozens of napoleon wrasse at a time, trigger fish,  puffer fish, stingrays,  lion fish,.......just to name a few!  If you're lucky during the migration period of around April and October, you might even see huge manta rays and whale sharks!!!  (see Chebeh)
