BY FERRY VIA BUS

Destination by road is Mersing Point.  Travellers can take a ferry across to Tioman Island. There are several departures daily, last one being about 5pm.  Duration across the water can take anytime between one and a half hours to three hours, depending on weather conditions.

You can also contact Tel:  +60-7-799-2535 / +60-7-799-2612  for booking of tickets on Transnational Express to most destinations within Peninsular Malaysia (departing Mersing)

DRIVING FROM SINGAPORE

As Mersing is on the East coast of Malaysia, take the first link at
Woodlands Check-point and make your way through Kota Tinggi and
Jemaluang, then on to Mersing.

The journey should take about 2 to 3 hours.

Parking at the designated area outside the pier in Mersing Point will cost
RM7 per night.

TAXI FROM SINGAPORE

Taxi cabs are available from Queen St (JB Express bus station).  They
cost S$45 per car.  It is always a good idea to share a cab if you are
travelling in a group of four or less.

Once getting through the Malaysian Check-point, taxi cabs are available
for about RM100.  Depending on the cab driver, you really have to stand
your ground as far as bargaining goes.

DRIVING FROM KUALA LUMPUR

A suggested route would be via Seremban and Kuala Pilah, passing
Bandar Muadzam Shah onto Rompin, and Endau into Mersing.

The journey should take about 5 to 6 hours.

Parking at the designated area outside the pier in Mersing Point will cost
RM7 per night.
